We don’t know about you, but we like to feel comfortable and confident in the professionals we choose to work with from the very beginning.
If you’re looking for a real estate experience that’s analytical, educational, and honestly enjoyable, then I’m your guy. I bring a practical, hands-on approach to buying and selling by providing my clients with comprehensive information and a keen eye for detail.
After earning my degree in electrical engineering at Queen’s University, I worked as a Consultant, Enterprise Sales Professional, and Account Executive for several global firms. When I switched gears and entered into the real estate industry, I met Aleks. We started renovating homes together and I realized how enjoyable and rewarding the process really was; from analyzing the investment and sales value to picking out the finishing touches, this experience gave me invaluable insight and a real-world understanding of Toronto’s real estate market.
I’m a pretty fun-loving person; I like getting to know people and building relationships, and friendships, with my clients. Real estate resonates with me because just like myself, it’s not boring. I constantly get to meet new people and work with them hands-on from A-to-Z. Now, I’ve been in the real estate industry for close to a decade and continue to love what I do.
People call me Rox, the Roxafarian, Roxa, the Schnauzer-Monkey and Poops–probably because I like to poop a lot. Originally from Montreal, I’ve called Toronto my home for the last 5.5 years which, coincidentally, is also how old I am. I’ve lived and marked my territory in many Toronto neighbourhoods, including The Junction Triangle, Corso-Italia, Oakwood Village and The Annex. I love long walks (on the beach), playing in the snow and sniffing things…ideally butts, I like sniffing butts a lot!
Well, I’m glad you asked! I didn’t really have much of a choice–my parents take me everywhere, so I’ve made it my business to become the official mascot. My favourite is getting on-site and barking at all the trades people–I always get them! I also like marking my territory, so the more real estate there is, the more territory I mark. Awesome!
Growing up with a real estate agent for a Mom, I was always adamant that I wouldn’t go into the family business. Fast forward to age 25 and I had just purchased my first home. After renovating and selling, I was totally hooked! Going through the process showed me just how rewarding it was, and I immediately wanted to jump into the industry.
Over the years, I’ve worked in everything from the fashion sector, learning the ins and outs of sales and client relationships, to the mortgage industry, where I worked at a brokerage, building a strong foundation for my current career.
When it comes to real estate, the passion came before the money–really! I truly believe that when you enjoy something, it’s not work, and that’s exactly what real estate is like for me. When Amir and I started renovated, we genuinely enjoyed the process and creativity that came with it, from coordinating and analyzing to selling and celebrating the sale. Since then, we’ve moved 14 times, renovated 10 homes, helped countless buyers and sellers achieve their own real estate goals, and never looked back!
