With 2012 closing and 2013 beginning, I reflected back on my year with a mixed bag of emotions. Although 2012 came with the good, the bad and the ugly, I’m happy to say goodbye and make 2013 better then ever! I couldn’t help but to do a review of my life and this blog in 2012, so here it goes!!!!

I started off 2012 with the loss of my beloved Harley just a couple weeks before the new year, which I had a really tough time accepting

But gained a new furry friend who helped me see the light….Roxie

Met some awesome people through blogging, in particular the peeps from RateHub Canada where we started a successful monthly blog post swap and did a video in conjunction with Yahoo Finance, which will be ready shortly.

I finished off my 4th renovation project after some tough troubles and hurdles, and it not only sold for the highest price and made neighbourhood history, but was also featured on Design Sponge!!!!

I was fortunate enough to go on 3 vacations this year, first was a girl trip to the French Riveria, then another girls trip to San Francisco to see Madonna in concert and lastly to Jamaica with my boyfriend, wow I really spoiled myself!

I helped with the all the colour choices, design and staging on my boyfriend’s renovation project, which got us featured in Toronto Life’s House Of The Week

I won my first ever raffle during the Princess Margaret Bloggers Show Home Sneak Peek Event

I switched to an innovative brokerage, Sage Real Estate, to expand my business, my presence through social media and help me go paperless to serve my clients better

I started my Sneak Peek Friday’s, listing all the open houses for the upcoming weekend in the Junction Triangle, Dovercourt Park and Wallace Emerson neigbourhoods and based on my google analytics, you guys are really loving it!

I celebrated my 1 year blog anniversary

Received the sweetest and best client testimonial and present ever given to me by my clients

Hosted my first ever First Time Home Buyer Seminar  with Shannon Lee Simmons

I almost hit the 1000 follower mark on Twitter in just 1 short year (960 and counting)

I bought my next renovation project, which I will be doing something different with this time around, so make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss the updates

Last but not least, rang in 2013 with my awesome boyfriend

I don’t really have any new years resolutions as I think they are a bit overrated, but my goal is to take my business to the next level and be kind to my mind, body and soul.

I hope that 2012 was great for all of you and I know 2013 will be bigger and better, so bring it on!!!
