Rebel Mama Brunch Recap

A few weeks ago I hosted my first ever Book and Brunch event. It’s basically a book club meeting with brunch included, how amazing? I put a call out to all the Rebel Mama’s out there to join me in discussing the trials and tribulations of motherhood and the hilarious, no bullshit book, The Rebel Mama’s Handbook for (Cool) Moms.

The event was open to all moms, in whatever stage of motherhood and you didn’t necessarily have to read the book, just be willing to discuss the real truths; the good, the bad and the ugly.

We had lots of great laughs, felt validated in our feelings and most importantly we did not feel alone in our journey through motherhood, for those 2 hours. Not to mention we had plenty of fuel (coffee) and a delicious brunch, at the beautiful Marben, if you haven’t been, go now!

I also planned a big surprise, and had the Rebel Mamas, the authors themselves, show up to sign our books, answer any questions, and just talk about their experiences of being moms.

Thanks to everyone who came and a big thanks to Alex and Nikita for taking the time to swap stories with us!
