12 Days of Kindness | Christmas Challenge
The best part of our day is seeing that smile on our clients’ face when we have worked on a great deal together, either by selling their property or helping them find their dream home. But this holiday season we want to see more smiles and help those who don’t have a place to call home.
Starting Dec 12th, we are launching Amir & Aleks’ “12 Days of Kindness” to make these cold days of winter warmer for our Toronto homeless youth, and we are doing it by challenging YOU and ourselves to spread some love.
Are you ready to be your best self and help someone in need?
What you need to do:
12 days to Christmas = 12 days of kindness. We know we should be kind all year around, but isn’t this just one more reason to be kind now?
Kindness is contagious so share with us your daily act of kindness and tag us (@amirandaleks) on your Instagram/Facebook story or post and use the hashtag #12DaysofKindness.
What we will do:
We will donate $1 to Covenant House for each of you that participates in our challenge, sharing your act of kindness with us*.
We will also commit our entire team to share their 12 days of kindness with you to support the cause. You can find our updates and daily adventures on our social media (If you are not following us yet, do it here: Facebook – Instagram) starting Dec 12 to Dec 24.
Other ways you can make a difference:
Want to do more? You can make a direct donation to organizations that are supporting our Toronto homeless youth, like Covenant House, but don’t forget to let us know by sharing it on your social media with us (#12DaysofKindness @amirandaleks), or, if you prefer to remain anonymous, via email (info@amirandaleks.com). This will help us keep track of our campaign results and your act of kindness will also be added to our team’s donation, making us one step closer to giving a roof and a brighter future to Toronto homeless youth.

About Covenant House
As Canada’s largest agency serving at-risk, homeless and trafficked youth, Covenant House Toronto changes lives by providing the widest range of services and support to as many as 300 youth a day. A national leader, they educate and advocate for change by influencing public policy and delivering prevention and awareness programs.
More than a place to stay, they provide 24/7 crisis shelter and transitional housing on-site and in the community, along with comprehensive services including education, counseling, health care, employment assistance, job training and after-care.
To do all this, they rely on donors for more than 80 per cent of their $30.6-million annual operating budget.
Their doors are open to youth 16 to 24 regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or the circumstances that have brought them to their doors.
Since opening their doors in 1982, Covenant House has served more than 95,000 young people.
