Exploring Toronto: Happy Guacamole Day!

Did you know that today, September 16th, is Guacamole Day?
So, what better way to celebrate the tastiest of dips than dipping chips in a guacamole bowl? To help you out, we have collected our favourite Mexican restaurants around Toronto.
So, let’s start digging in some guacamole sauce!
King Tacos – 1190 St. Clair Ave. West | Corso Italia
Opened in the early ’80s, this is one of the oldest restaurant we are writing about today. If you’re looking for authentic yet large portion of tacos and more, this is the place you want to be!
By far, it’s our favourite Mexican spot, and dangerously close to our home. We didn’t settle move to this neighbourhood for its tacos and guacamole, yet that could have been a good enough reason! So, if you haven’t tried it yet, that is something you’ll definitely want to do!
El Catrin – 18 Tank House Ln. | Distillery District – Waterfront communities

If you are looking for a colourful and delicious Mexican experience, than this your spot! You may enjoy the last bit of warm weather on their large, heated patio under their spectacular oversized chandeliers.
If you think you may be mesmerized by the colourful architecture and design of the place, you may be wrong, as the food and drinks are something you wouldn’t want to miss as well!
Extra: For the brave ones out there, you may add chapulines (crickets) to your guac, for a full Mexican experience!
